Boreas Seabed

We arrive at the Boreas Seabed.  The welcome is much warmer than at the Kurzicks, but I feel that is only because there are so many people here.  The Elder is well acquainted with Master Togo, and allows us audience with her instantly. 

Togo speaks alone to the Elder Rhea.  He downright asks for the spear but she is firm in her denial.  Tradition is stronger than ending Shiro it seems.  The Luxon are hustling in to the seabed for today is the Convocation.  Elder Rhea cannot give us the spear because it is the prize for the Tribe who wins the days events.  If we want it, we have no choice but to win!

We enter the ring as the "Dragons from the North".  Facing off against a team of rangers, we win our first round easily.

Round Two was against another  ranger, but this ranger had an apt healer in tow, as well as mesmers.  We are set back a little but prevail victorious and head to the third tribe.  Argo, the leader of this tribe, is a very skilled Elementalist, and he allows us to know that instantly.  My healers work frantically to heal and resserect the damage and luckily for us, after this heated match, we manage to win.  The spear is ours, and it is our honour to kill the great Zhu Hanaku, as per annual Luxon tradition.

Zhu Hanaku is a great squid of a being.  Floating gracefully on the solid surface of the Jade Sea, he awaits us, fuscia and teal and orange.  He is a beauty to behold and I am sorry for a moment I must destroy him.  Reminded by the spear that he will return next year I begin co-ordinating our attack.  Zhu Hanaku is a ressurrect machine.  Kraken come back to life to distract us while Zhu himself flings cinderblocks of jade upon us.  He trips me up and I fall in front of him dropping the Spear of Archemorus, and before my eyes out comes a glowing phantom.  He lifts a glowing spear of his own and the ground shakes and Zhu Hanaku falls.

Proud of my mistakes, I have learned to work the Spear of Archemorus.  We have done a great respect to the Luxons, we will need them as allies.  We take our spear and go to find Master Togo, who is approached by Mhenlo upon the solid jade waters in a panic.  There are riots breaking out in the sewers of Kaining, the emperor needs our help.
